Nerilee
I have 15 years’ experience in environmental management and community engagement, specialising in sustainable agriculture, terrestrial vegetation management and strategic planning. I have worked in the Government-funded Natural Resource Management (NRM) sector for most of my career and now run my own small business in environmental, cultural and community engagement consulting with my husband.

My environmental management work has ranged from grassroots Landcare to Regional NRM, which has allowed me to implement a broad range of approaches to the issues facing our environment and communities. While I hold a Bachelor of Science, Environmental Management, as my career progressed it has increasingly taken me towards communications and community engagement, with a particular focus on working with Aboriginal people.

I was born and raised in Cervantes but fell in love with the South West of WA while at university. After completing my degree I lived and farmed in Boyup Brook for six years and now call Busselton home. I am dedicated to ensuring that our region thrives and is environmentally, socially and economically sustainable into the future.
